As a highly professional, well-respected leader and strategic planner, Gregory Gamble is uniquely qualified to serve as the founder and CEO of Gamble Protection Services. He oversees a team of 15 providing emergency preparedness and security consulting services for various organizations, including transportation agencies, schools, churches, public entities, and companies in the private sector.
Gregory has earned a stellar reputation as a law enforcement commander, influential strategist, and engaging communicator. He has successfully led teams in handling hostage and crisis scenarios, demonstrating strength in high-pressure environments. He can also analyze, communicate, and provide direction on all standards-related compliance findings and issues with client agencies and organizations.
He recently worked as Chief of Security for All-Star Kids Academy for over 10 years, overseeing a staff of 25 and managing a $1 million budget.
He formerly served as the Lieutenant of the Emergency Preparedness Unit for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), the ninth-largest transit system in the nation. He oversaw the physical security and emergency management of MARTA’s 120+ facilities, serving a 500,000 daily ridership with 48 miles of heavy track and 10 million square feet of green space. He oversaw various areas and departments, including the communication center, property/evidence, records, crime analysis, fleet management, access control, and quartermaster.
He was responsible for managing over $15 million of security-related capital projects for MARTA. He led MARTA in receiving the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) prestigious Baseline Assessment for Security Enhancement (BASE) Gold Standard Award for his leadership efforts. Gregory also worked on the $14 billion Central Artery/Third Harbor Tunnel Project for 12 years as the Emergency Response Supervisor, providing safety and security for the 4,000 contractors, and vendors.
Gregory earned his Master of Public Administration from Valdosta State University and his bachelor’s degree in communications from Robert Morris University. He is a Certified Security/Safety Director with the World Safety Organization and carries a Transit Safety & Security Program (TSSP) Certification from the Transportation Safety Institute (TSI). He is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and Physical Security Professional (PSP) by ASIS International. He is certified by the Public Transportation Safety Certification Training Program (PTSCTP), Certified Emergency Manager by the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) and is a Certified Sport Security Professional (CSSP) by National Center for
Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS 4 ) at The University of Southern Mississippi.

Gregory is a member of several organizations such as the International Organization of Black Security Executives, National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives, ASIS-International, and serves as the Board Secretary for the Greater Atlanta chapter of ASIS International, World Safety Organization, International of Emergency Managers and Fraternal Order of Police Georgia Lodge 64.
